For the Meat:
- 500 g ground meat
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Β½ teaspoon salt
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- Β½ teaspoon vegeta
For the Potatoes:
- 6 large potatoes
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons vegeta
For the Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 200 ml milk
- Β½ teaspoon vegeta
- ΒΌ teaspoon salt

1οΈβ£ Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
Boil them in salted water with vegeta for about 8β10 minutes, just until slightly tender.
Drain and set aside.
2οΈβ£ Cook the Meat
Heat olive oil in a pan.
Add ground meat and cook until browned.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, basil, marjoram, and vegeta.
Cook for a few more minutes, then remove from heat.
3οΈβ£ Make the Cream Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the butter.
Add flour and stir continuously for 1β2 minutes (do not brown).
Gradually whisk in milk and cream.
Cook until thick and smooth.
Season with vegeta and salt.
4οΈβ£ Assemble
Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).
In a greased baking dish:
- Layer half of the potatoes
- Add the seasoned meat
- Cover with remaining potatoes
- Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the top

Bake for 30β40 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
