Ingredients (approx. 12 slices)
Sponge:
- 150 g ground walnuts
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 300 g sugar
- 8 eggs
- 100 ml water
- Β½ pack baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Cream:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 g milk chocolate
- 500 ml heavy cream
- 2 packs whipping cream stabilizer
- A handful of raisins
Instructions:
1οΈβ£ Prepare the Sponge:
- Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).
- Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy.
- Add water, flour, ground walnuts, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth.
- Pour into a greased baking pan and bake 25β30 minutes. Let cool.
2οΈβ£ Prepare the Cream:
- Melt dark and milk chocolate over a water bath.
- Whip the cream with stabilizer until firm.
- Gently fold melted chocolate and raisins into the whipped cream.
3οΈβ£ Assemble the Cake:
- Slice the sponge in half horizontally.
- Spread half of the chocolate cream on the bottom layer.
- Place the top sponge layer and cover with remaining cream.
- Decorate as desired.
