π₯ Instructions
1. Prepare the Lobster
- Split lobster tails in half lengthwise.
- Pat dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Brush lightly with 1 tbsp melted butter.
2. Sear the Scallops
- Pat scallops dry with paper towels (this is key for a golden sear).
- Heat 1β2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear scallops 2β3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove scallops and set aside.
3. Cook the Lobster
- In the same skillet, add a little more butter.
- Place lobster cut-side down for 3β4 minutes, then flip and cook another 2β3 minutes until just cooked through.
- Lobster should be opaque and tender, not rubbery.
4. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In a small saucepan, melt remaining butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic, cook 30β60 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and parsley.
- Season with salt & pepper.
5. Combine & Serve
- Drizzle garlic butter over lobster and scallops.
- Serve immediately with optional sides.
- Garnish with extra parsley or a lemon wedge for presentation.
β Tips for Perfection
- Donβt overcrowd the pan when searing scallops β they need space to caramelize.
- Pat seafood completely dry before cooking for the best sear.
- Use fresh lemon juice for a bright, balanced flavor.
- Serve with crusty bread to soak up the buttery sauce.
